The Town of Ledyard Police Department strives to provide service and protection to its citizens and visitors. This mission is accomplished by maintaining a highly trained force consisting of its Patrol and Dectective divisions, along with assistance from its Emergency Telecommunications and Animal Control divisions. The Ledyard Police Department is administered by Sgt. John Rich, a Resident State Trooper assigned from the Connecticut State Police. Sgt. Rich functions as the department head and is responsible for the department's operations.
