The Portland Police Department has been located in the Portland Buck-Foreman Community Building since April, 2003. It is staffed by ten full-time police officers and one Records Clerk. Through an interlocal agreement with the City of Middletown, the Dispatch function is provided through the Middletown Communications Center.
