The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office is proud to be involved in the production of two local television talk shows, “10-8” and “Behind the Badge.” Both provide an opportunity to educate citizens on a variety of public safety issues. The St. Lucie County Board of County Commission produces “10-8,” hosted by a Sheriff’s Office member. “Behind the Badge” is a television production of the St. Lucie County School District and is also hosted by a Sheriff’s Office member. In addition to guests from the Sheriff’s Office, the shows feature members of the Fort Pierce Police Department, the Port St. Lucie Police Department, the Fire District, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and other agencies.
