The mission of the High Springs Police Department is to provide a safe and secure community for all of it's residents and businesses, prevent crime, and protect life and property by enforcing laws of the State of Florida, thereby protecting each individual's freedom as guaranteed by the United States Constitution. Our Officers The High Springs Police Department is staffed with fourteen sworn full-time police officers, six sworn reserve police officers, and six non-sworn civilian support personnel. All officers are responsible for traffic patrol and enforcement, traffic crash investigations, follow-up investigations on various reported crimes, and giving demonstrations and providing services as needed to the community. The non-sworn personnel are responsible for the communications center and records.
