Eaton County is located just west of the greater Lansing, Michigan area. The County seat is Charlotte which is located in the center of Eaton County 20 miles southwest of Lansing. The Sheriff's Department is responsible for general law enforcement activities throughout the County and provides contract police services to Delta Township.
