The non-emergency number to access our dispatch center to make a report or request for service is 763-427-1212. The department provides around the clock police service with 38 sworn peace officers and 15 full- or part-time civilian staff. A Public Safety Director and two Captains, each in charge of a Division, administer the department. The Field Operations division consists of the uniformed patrol officers and non-sworn community service officers. The Technical Services division includes Information Services, Special Projects and Investigation.
