Our Department is made up of 21 full-time paid officers, 3 auxiliary officers, and 4 civilian employees. All officers, both full-time and auxiliary, complete Basic Law Enforcement Training as mandated by North Carolina State Law. In addition, our officers are required to complete in-service training on an annual basis throughout their careers. This level of training and certification insures that the community and its visitors have thoroughly qualified individuals responding to their calls for service
