The Jackson Township Police Department is a small police department employing around ten people. Our structure includes one Chief, one Lieutenant, one Sergeant, three Full Time Patrol Officers, and a few Part Time Patrol Officers. The number of Part Time Patrol Officers varies from one to five depending on current staffing. In addition to the officers we share a police clerk with other township departments. We rely on levy support and grants for funding, and we operate within a small budget. We patrol 36.5 square miles of mostly rural area, and we are contracted by the Village of Farmersville to provide Police coverage to their community.
