TO PROTECT AND SERVE. he Brookhaven Police Department consists of a Chief, a Detective, eight full-time patrol officers, eleven part-time patrol officers and a K-9 unit. The department has a Traffic Safety Officer, a Canine Officer, a Community Policing Officer, a First Aid and CPR instructor, a DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Officer, a Firearms Instructor and Bike Patrol Officers.
