TO PROTECT AND SERVE. Joe Stevenson, born November 10,1958 to the late Woodrow Wilson Stevenson, Sr. and Bernadine Thomas Stevenson, is the sixth of nine children, six girls and three boys. He attended public schools in the old South Park District and the Beaumont School district where he was a 1977 Graduate of Hebert High School. During his high school gridiron playing, he acquired the tag, Joe “Quarterback” Stevenson.
